Over the past year or so, our car adventures here at Auto Mentality have taken us from Amelia Island, Florida to the Hill Country of Texas; from Washington, D.C. to Seattle. In all of those miles logged—whether we were in a duPont Registry Aston Martin Vantage GT, a ’74 BMW 2002 tii, or a cheap-as-hell Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG—we were always asked the same question: How did you get it?
To answer that question, we’ve launched a new editorial section on Auto Mentality called, “The Hunt.”
So many little Beemers, so little time.
The Hunt will help you on your journey of finding that next forever car. It will provide automotive enthusiasts with guidelines on the do’s, don’ts and stay-the-hell-away-from type of scenarios when looking for that next project car. Whether it costs $5,000 or $5,000,000, The Hunt will be a resource enthusiasts can turn to in order to understand the vehicle they are interested in a little bit better from the buying side of things.
‘The Hunt’ helps auto enthusiasts find special cars and little-known deals, of which the above Mitsubishi Eclipse is not.
We’ve already gone ahead and populated The Hunt with a few articles related to car buying/stalking from the past 18 months or so.
‘The Hunt’ Tip: We bought this car with a warranty. Why should you? Because, Aston.
In 2018, you can expect more articles and videos that explain everything you need to know, such as what are fair prices, where to source a particular make/model, or how things work in the specialty used vehicle market world. Until then, we encourage you to send us an email or post to the Auto Mentality Facebook page what cars you are interested in us gathering info on to fill that empty bay in your garage.
